COMING ATTRACTIONS
CBK and the new decade
During the year of 2010 we will be holding new exhibitions and publish more anthologies than ever before.

Exhibitions
There will be three exhibitions taking place in Sweden: the first in the Spring, the second in the Fall and the third... well somewhere inbetween. The first exhibition will be challenging the conformity of the fixed display of art. Instead, we will create a live and everchanging exhibition where both artists and audience participate, and where the exhibition itself is repeatedly wiped out and replaced by new work.

The second and third exhibitions belong to the "C'est Bon Panorama" series. One will be the new (and third) exhibition reinterpreting a well known story – like the fairytale of Little Red Riding Hood and Mary Shelley's Frankenstein in the two previous – and the other will be a collected exposé of the two before mentioned. In the new exhibition we will be turning our attention to another compelling story that has left an imprint in the minds of us all, not to mention popular culture.

We will be updating the site with detailed information about this year's exhibitons as we go along.

Publications
New C'est Bon Anthology is sharper in every way. We have increased the issues per year from two to four, lowered the price per issue and introduced new segments. Except the best graphic short stories from artists from all over the world, we also present, in every issue, an interview with one of the contributing artists to find out more about the inner workings of the creative process. This segment is called "CBQ&A", so come follow us as we go deeper into the black-and-whites of the comics pages.

Furthermore, we present the new segment of "Comics as Art – Art as Comics". In every issue we invite an artist who works in another branch of the visual arts, to create one full color page as a bridge between comics art and other forms of expression.

The year of 2010 will be presenting C'est Bon Anthology volumes 10, 11, 12 and 13. These issues, as well as back issues, are available in our web shop.

The album series of Piracy is Liberation by Mattias Elftorp has moved to our fellow publisher Wormgod. New issues in the series can be found at the Piracy is Liberation website and the Wormgod website, but we will keep holding issues 001 through 006. Piracy is Liberation is political theory, filtered through autobiography, masked as fiction in the form of cyberpunk postapocalypse...
